Dunhill Associates was founded and is led by Alan Dunhill, a Chartered Engineer and PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner. He also holds a NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety and has over 25 years of experience as a Project Manager in Manufacturing and Engineering.
Why did you establish Dunhill Associates?
I had been Project Managing high value engineering and manufacturing projects for many years and realised that in many cases businesses lacked the internal resources of time, money and the expertise in their team to deliver critical Projects. In a career where I had managed many hundreds of individual Projects - and up to 20 at any one time - I realised that this represented an area where I could have a real impact and meet a real need.
What is your background?
For much of the last decade I was Project Manager and then Head of Contracts for a Manufacturer and Installer of vehicle and engine testing equipment working in the UK and overseas. Our clients were true blue-chip organisations, including Rolls Royce, Bentley and Ford. Rightly, these were demanding clients with diverse requirements and deliverables. Some examples can be found on our Portfolio page.
What makes Dunhill Associates different?
I am an Engineer, a Project Management Professional and have lived for many years in the Black Country. I am proud of the engineering heritage of the West Midlands and I am confident that our business shares the attributes of the best of the Region, which after all, was at the heart of the first industrial revolution.
What are those attributes?
Hard work, innovation, a ‘real world’ approach and a passion for getting the job done right. Oh - and an understanding of the importance of value for money!
What is your approach?
We use proven and measurable Project Management Tools and Methodologies. We then add to the mix our own passion, flexibility, experience and insight. We work very hard to understand exactly what needs to be delivered. The solution we propose and agree with a client will meet that requirement, no question. Our relationships with our clients are open and collaborative - we become an extension of their team, should we be supporting them in a small modification or a major capital project.
How can you be contacted?
